Board Member Del Schembari partners with Mountain Watch volunteer Mark Sustarich on this hike of the Daly City Dunes. These dunes, once part of an ancient ocean, are now home to the federally endangered San Franicsco Lessingia plant, a Native American Burial/Shellmound, and the PIpevine Swallowtail Butterfly. Hike meets at Teglia Center, 283 Abbott St., Daly City at 10:00 AM. Dress in layers, wear a hat, sturdy shoes, and bring water and lunch.
