Join us again on Tuesday October 18th!
This is a recurring event, meeting every Tuesday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 noon at the wetland near 100 Cypress Lane in Brisbane. This small wetland is completely surrounded by Crocker Industrial Park but is a beautiful remnant of the wetlands that were once plentiful around the foot of San Bruno Mountain. There are several native plants growing in this area, and the wetland is a breeding ground for native Pacific Chorus Frogs, which can be seen as tadpoles in the spring and frogs later on. Work involves weeding, clearing trash, mowing, watering, and clearing away algae. Watch our award-winning video about our Cypress Lane restoration project: https://youtu.be/roQoJY7TxVA.
Bring boots, water, and a hat. Tools are provided. Directions and a map can be found here. There is plenty of parking - once you arrive, look for your leader Ariel Cherbowsky, our Stewardship Coordinator, at the site. If you would like to let us know you're coming or ask questions, please email Ariel directly, the office at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 415 467 6631.
