Welcome to the digital pavilion! Here, you can remotely explore the exhibits featured in the interpretive pavilion at the entrance to San Bruno Mountain State and County Park.

San Bruno Mountain Watch worked to develop the wall exhibits and videos for the pavilion through a fun collaboration with the San Mateo County Parks interpretive team.

San Bruno Mountain Watch is grateful to the Mary A. Crocker Trust and the Sand Hill Foundation for providing grant funding in support of the significant staff time our organization dedicated to the development and design of the interpretive panels and videos. We also thank the Bothin Foundation—many of the photos we used in the exhibits were taken with camera equipment purchased through their financial support!

The San Bruno Mountain’s Day Use Improvement Project

The San Bruno Mountain’s Day Use Improvement Project began in the summer of 2025 and was completed in the spring of 2026. Six of the park’s nine new picnic sites are fully accessible to people of all abilities and feature new BBQ grills and tables configured in 1, 2, or 4 table groupings. All sites are connected by circular paved pathway and are available on a first come, first served basis.

A new, larger restroom facility features four all-gender and ADA accessible toilet rooms with sinks and changing tables.

The interpretive pavilion is at the rear portion of this facility and features wall panels, a screen for educational videos, and a community board showcasing upcoming events and park notices.

The project was supported by San Mateo County Board Supervisor David Canepa and Measure K.

Congratulations to the planners, contractors, and park rangers who carried out the construction!
