Bluewitch nightshade has blue-purple flowers from January to June, and attracts butterflies and bees. It is a small shrub that grows to about 3 feet in height, and is fairly hardy. It typically goes dormant over the summer, but with summer water it will remain leafy and may even continue to flower.
