Hike through two beautiful canyons and get an idea of what makes this mountain so special. This May Day Hike through Buckeye and Owl Canyons will be led by Gail Mallimson, Board Member, environmentalist and director of the documentary The Edge of the Wild, and her husband Elliot, landscape designer and native plant enthusiast. You'll visit an Ohlone Indian shellmound, learn common wildflowers and plants, and perhaps glimpse a Mission Blue butterfly.
Hike meets at the San Bruno Mountain Watch office at 44 Visitacion in Brisbane. Bring water, a hat, sunscreen, lunch, and dress in layers.
