Help plant San Francisco campion (Silene verecunda), a very rare and beautiful plant, on the top of the mountain!

This is the first planting day for this species—a small population of it was rediscovered on the mountain in 2016 and from a tiny amount of seed collected, we’ve been able to amplify the seeds at our Mission Blue Nursery over many growing seasons. This year we’ve grown nearly 2000 seedlings to plant back on the mountain! Thank you for helping us plant the first bunch on the mountain this Saturday.
