Let’s gather in the golden light and celebrate San Bruno Mountain and the summer solstice!
Please join us at the Brisbane Community Park on Saturday, June 21st. This is a free event open to all people and ages.
We’ll provide an assortment of food and refreshments, but it’s a potluck picnic so please feel free to bring a dish, drink, or dessert to share! Bring a picnic blanket, folding chairs, friends and family!
We encourage you to come dressed or decorated in a way that evokes San Bruno Mountain! Butterfly wings, quartz-crystal earings, coyote ears, fogged up sunglasses, lichen beards, sandstone sandals, flowery sunhats…
The fun and friendly celebration in the park will include:
mountain art exhibits and educational displays
environmental art activities for all ages
live music! Four different bands—bluegrass, punk rock, jazz, classic rock!
mountain costume contest
special, guided sunset hike
fire ring
free native plants gifted by Mission Blue Nursery
and more!
