Daly City Gateways: A Guided Hike from the Crocker Gate trailhead

  • Crocker Gate Trailhead (map)

Location: Meet at the Crocker Gate trailhead entrance to San Bruno Mountain, near the intersection of Crocker Avenue and South Hill Boulevard. There is plenty of free street parking.

RSVP required, please sign up here >>>>>

Join us (Ulap, Skyline Kapit Bisig, and San Bruno Mountain Watch) for the first in a series of introductory events inviting the community to explore and connect with the trails, history, and ecosystems of San Bruno Mountain's foggy western reaches, with a focus on environmental justice, relationships between people and their surroundings, and past and present efforts to protect the land both on San Bruno Mountain and around the world.

We’ll explore the different ecosystems easily accessible from Daly City's Crocker Gate trailhead! The guided walk is easy-to-intermediate and about two miles in length. The route follows the Old Guadalupe trail and the Saddle Loop trail; these trails have paved or gravel surfaces and are level in most areas with slightly hilly portions as well.

The group will also have the opportunity to help with a restoration volunteer activity to care for the Mountain's native plants and animals.

Bring a hat, sunscreen, good walking shoes, and water!

Snacks, refreshments, and a free interpretive booklet will be provided.
