Russ Aguilar, San Bruno Mountain Watch’s Interpretive Specialist, will lead an amphibian walk in Own Canyon from 10AM to 12PM on Saturday, February 21st!

The walk will focus on the Pacific Chorus Frogs that are breeding in the canyon. We will discuss the special adaptations these various species have to survive in the San Bruno Mountain ecosystem. We will also explore a trail to see what other kinds of amphibians we can find. Expect to get a bit muddy! Some trails can be narrow, slippery, and gain elevation.
