Join San Bruno Mountain Watch for a restoration planting day and guided interpretive walk exploring the habitat and the history of the endangered San Bruno Elfin butterfly as part of the Elevate the Elfin project.
An educational booklet will be provided to each attendee. The walk will take place on the Dairy Ravine Trail and Summit Loop Trail. Once we reach the planting site, the group will help plant Pacific stonecrop (host plant of the San Bruno elfin butterfly) as well as native nectar plants.
The initial meeting location at 9:30am is the second parking lot south of the Canyon Parkway. Turn right at the stop sign just past the ranger station at the park entrance and drive under the overpass to the parking lot next to the San Bruno Mountain Botanical Garden
