San Bruno Mountain Watch interpretive specialist, Russ Aguilar, will be delivering a lecture for the Daly City History Guild!

Learn about the Nike missile silos around the SF Bay Area, including the one on San Bruno Mountain. An early-warning radar and missile-control site was located on the western ridge of San Bruno Mountain, beginning in the 1950s, as part of Nike anti-aircraft defense systems.
